Just before Christmas Earlplace sold its freehold interest in Bennetts Hill , Birmingham to Nurton Developments. Earlplace bought the property in 2005 and refurbished the vacant upper parts. Since then, we have secured three new lettings and achieved a significant uplift at rent review with Marstons plc the major tenant.
Nurton plan to occupy the vacant offices. The sale was probably one of the only major investment deals to have occurred in Birmingham since the commercial property started to suffer as a result of the worsening credit situation.
