At the time the property was acquired it was let for 20 years at a rent of £147,000 per annum to Cape Engineering Limited.
The site provided 30,321 sq. ft. of industrial buildings of varying specification and extended to 2.58 acres.
Earlplace secured outline planning permission for high density residential development and agreed terms for the surrender of the lease. In addition Earlplace secured new premises for the tenant elsewhere in Warwick.
The site was sold with vacant possesion to a division of Barrett Homes for £3.25 million in December 1998.
